William Roine is a singer-songwriter from Hameln and now lives in Münster. With his song "Schrebergarten," which has received a lot of attention in Hameln in recent weeks, he is now returning with a full band for a home game at Sumpfblume.
His songs move somewhere between indie, folk, and honest stories from real life. They touch on themes of home, family, relationships, uncertainties, and that feeling of sometimes not quite fitting in anywhere.
"Schrebergarten" has become more or less a song about Hameln, and for that reason, this concert probably means more than any other so far.
For William, the evening is also a little back to the roots: Having performed in school bands at Sumpfblume in the past, he is now back on the same stage – just this time with his own songs.
