Guided tours of the town provide insights into the historical development and current significance of Salzgitter-Bad, a state-approved town with a brine spa. Interesting tours include the sculpture trail. Here, the end of the season is designed according to the wishes of the participants.

The sculpture trail is a section of the European "Road of Peace". A transnational art project in public space was realized here based on an idea by the painter and sculptor Otto Freundlich.

Cost: 5 euros per person, charged on site, registration is requested.

Sturdy footwear is always required for an exploration, as the sculptures are anchored in nature, sometimes on uneven ground. The 10 works of art in the southern part of the city are presented in various sections and stages.

When the leaves are expected to change color beautifully, there is a great autumn walk along the golf course, among other places, where there are numerous sculptures to discover.
