Sonderausstellung: Mit Pinsel, Stein und Stift: Künstler im Raum Winsen

Special exhibition
The 19th and 20th centuries produced many important artists in the Winsen region. They were inspired by the town of Winsen and its castle, the blooming heath and many other motifs.
Until March 8, 2026, the Museum im Marstall is showing works by well-known painters, sculptors and graphic artists. In several themed sections, you can see landscapes, animal paintings, portraits, Winsen motifs and figurative art. Be curious to see how differently the region was perceived and depicted by painters and see the region through their eyes.

The exhibition offers a compilation of works by over 40 artists, including Hugo Friedrich Hartmann, Ernst Odefey, Margarethe Schneefus, Richard Fehlandt and Ole Ohlendorff.

The young artists from the current art performance course at Winsen Grammar School are also taking part!
