Rundgang Dokumentations- und Lernort Bückeberg

Other offers for citizens
The Reich Harvest Festivals took place on the Bückeberg near Hameln from 1933 to 1937, one of the largest mass events of National Socialism. Up to 1 million people cheered for Adolf Hitler here and were meant to feel part of the "people's community." The tour through the permanent exhibition informs about the course of the Reich Harvest Festivals, the extensive accompanying construction measures, and the underlying propaganda mechanisms. The focus is on the question of how the National Socialists were able to co-opt the people, as the Bückeberg is not about victims or perpetrators, but the majority society that either "went along" or "looked away."
