Repair-Café am Tag der internationalen Reparatur

For now, the Repair Café will be open to everyone on the first Saturday of every month from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (at the workshop entrance, Schulstraße 8). No registration is required. All volunteers look forward to sharing their knowledge and working with you to give various cherished items a second chance. Please remember to bring only small appliances; a Repair Café is not a repair shop, but rather provides expert support through advice and hands-on assistance to help you fix things yourself. We currently cover the following areas: electrical appliances, small furniture and household items, bicycles (no e-bikes!), and clothing (we’re still looking for help with this). Since a Repair Café is not only a place for communal repairs but also a gathering spot, coffee and cake are just as important as screwdrivers and soldering irons. These initiatives strengthen neighborhood communication and mutual support, and often foster dialogue between generations, where everyone can contribute their skills, pass them on, and learn something new.
