Musical Highlight at the Horse Market

The Pied Piper puppet show is a highlight of every visit to Hameln. Daily at 1:05 PM, 3:35 PM, and 5:35 PM the bronze doors open and the Pied Piper makes his rounds. Spectators follow his story from drowning the rats to the disappearance of the children. The melody comes from Jürgen Langehein (1923-1992). The figures were designed by Harro Siegel (1900-1985) and executed by Walter Volland (1898-1980).
