It's a huge event: on Open Monument Day, over 5,000 monuments across Germany open their doors.
The "Open Monument Day" at the Kaiser Wilhelm Monument offers families and history buffs the opportunity to experience history up close. The free event invites visitors to take a guided tour and immerse themselves in the fascinating past. Particularly appealing for families and children, this museum day combines exploration with education. A highlight that is not only educational, but also entertaining and puts everyday life in the background for a moment.
The team from the LWL Prussian Museum will be on site. There will also be a children's program on site, with a bouncy castle and craft stations about the monument.
