On the first weekend in May, the small barbecue and hiking house #FUTTERKRIPPE opens its doors to visitors at the Steinberghaus in Kaufunger Wald.

The house is still known to many people in the region as the former Naturfreundehaus Kassel. It is located directly on popular hiking and mountain bike trails. For many years, this place has been a popular destination in the countryside for numerous walkers, families and club groups.

From Friday, May 1 to Sunday, May 3, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., hikers, mountain bikers and day trippers are invited to take a break in the middle of nature.

With the #FUTTERKRIPPE, a simple, rustic refreshment stop is once again being created at the traditional location for anyone looking for a bite to eat along the way.

The menu includes delicious small dishes and drinks. Outdoor seating invites you to linger.

The #FUTTERKRIPPE will also be open regularly in future - on public holidays and on the last Sunday of every month (weather permitting).
