Teufelsmoor - often described as inhospitable, often painted as idyllic. What has remained of it? What distinguishes this characteristic habitat and why is the preservation of the moor an important contribution to climate protection?
On a hike through a protected raised bog area, guests learn about the special features of the plant and animal species living there, historical aspects of cultivation as well as climate-relevant facts about drainage and extraction as well as rewetting of the moor body.
Duration: 2 hours plus arrival and departure

Travel in your own car, carpooling will be arranged if necessary.
It is also possible to arrive by bike, from the tourist information office approx. 35 minutes.
Sturdy shoes and weatherproof clothing as well as insect protection are strongly recommended.
The path is not paved, good surefootedness is required.
