Highlights of the event at the peat barge harbor in Gnarrenburg are the arrival and departure parades of the peat barges at 11:30 and 16:00, in which the peat barge skippers from Adolphsdorf and Osterholz-Scharmbeck also take part.
Artisans and regional vendors offer their wares on the harbor grounds. Round trips with the gate barges and the Moor-Molly provide entertainment. Children can look forward to a bouncy castle and puppet theater.
And food and drink is also provided with potato pancakes, buckwheat pancakes or a hearty soup.
