During the 90-minute winter ride through the Ahlenmoor, the moor train travels directly to the observation tower at the large moor rewetted areas far out in the nature reserve. Here, the view over the wintry landscape is expansive and the silence almost palpable. It's amazing what beautiful colors this time of year produces.
Everyone who knows the moor from the warm summer season should also treat themselves to its winter beauty. An expert moorland train guide will accompany you and will be happy to answer any questions you may have. To ward off the cold, hot punch and cookies are available on the observation tower. Blankets are provided, but please dress warmly anyway.

Of course, there are also places for guests with wheelchairs. In this case, you must register in advance with the MoorIZ by email (mooriz@ahlenmoor.de) or telephone 04757-8189558, as the places must be specially prepared. Unfortunately, online ticketing is not possible in this case!
Dogs are not allowed on the Moorbahn!
