For the third time, the nearly 250-year-old Grapenmühle is being transformed into a place filled with music and encounters.
“Mondscheinfunkeln” is a weekend event that brings culture to an extraordinary historic site—while also highlighting the significance of this historic building for an entire region. Illuminated by hundreds of (LED) candles, the mill becomes an atmospheric concert venue over two evenings. In a deliberately intimate atmosphere with only about 30 guests, an intense, personal musical experience unfolds—one that’s hard to find. Where the millwheel once clattered, special moments now unfold: amid candlelight, old beams, fascinating stories, and creative people.
