Moby Dick

Moby Dick, a story of the sea and man’s struggle with nature. The great fish, Moby Dick, takes center stage, along with man and the vast ocean. For no other work brings the essence of the sea into such sharp focus as this novel by Herman Melville: man versus beast; Captain Ahab in his battle with the white whale. A drama of life and death.
Norbert Knitsch brings this adventurous story to life in a new dramatized adaptation, showcasing his artistic versatility alongside musician Hans Sakowski, in the style of his other well-known plays. This novel is a masterpiece of world literature and simultaneously documents what is still happening in whaling today.
