Meller Weihnachtsmarkt

From November 27 to December 13, 2026, Melle’s Town Hall Square and the church square at St. Matthew’s Church will be transformed into a festive village of Christmas stalls that captivates tens of thousands of visitors year after year. It is undoubtedly the cozy atmosphere in the shadow of the church towers of St. Matthew’s and St. Peter’s Churches, as well as the historic town hall, that makes the Melle Christmas market so distinctive. With its stylish ambiance—created by over 65 wooden stalls, the large illuminated entrance arches, and the atmospheric tree lighting—the Melle Christmas Market has become one of the best-known and largest in northwestern Germany.

The Melle Christmas Market is open daily from 2:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., as well as on Saturdays starting at 11:00 a.m. and on Sundays starting at 1:00 p.m.
