The Neustadt city center shines in fascinating splendor at the 2025 Festival of Lights - a magical experience for the whole family.

The Festival of Lights 2025 takes place on Saturday, December 6. Stroll through the illuminated Neustadt city center, marvel at spectacular light installations and look forward to a great supporting program from 5 pm from La-Ferté-Macé-Platz to Kirchplatz. Artistic fire shows, projections, illuminated walk acts and a varied gastronomic offer provide the perfect setting for an atmospheric evening. A very special highlight is the large laser show, which will provide excitement at regular intervals on the church square. In between, there will be rousing live music.

The Children's Light Festival for the whole family starts at 3 pm on the church square. There is everything here to make children's hearts beat faster: A giant roller slide, face painting and tattoo stations and a great entertainment program from TanzCentrum Kressler.
