“Lights in the Courtyards”
Encounters and Creativity Behind the Facades in the Rosenplatz Neighborhood
The success story of “Lights in the Courtyards” continues. Now in its 14th year, residents, local businesses, and organizations in the Rosenplatz neighborhood are opening their gardens and courtyards to invite you to a special neighborhood festival.
At 19 different venues, you’re invited to enjoy artistic, cultural, and culinary offerings—most of which are self-organized. Starting at 3:00 p.m. and continuing into the night, a colorful program awaits you—full of things to hear, see, play, taste, savor, browse, marvel at, and discover. There’s something for everyone, young and old alike.
Admission to the events is free; food and drinks are sold at cost. Some organizers ask for a small donation, which will then benefit a cause of your choice.
The complete program and map are now available online at https://entwickelt.osnabrueck.de/de/stadtquartiere/rosenplatz/netzwerk/
Starting September 4, program booklets will also be available at the Rosenplatz Neighborhood Office at Iburger Straße 24. The office is staffed on Mondays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Fridays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in September, but you’re also welcome to drop by anytime on a whim.
