Kurkonzert des Männergesangvereins NEO
Founded by Antonius Schöning in the Bad Iburg district of Glane, the male choir is primarily dedicated to the pop and rock genres of the 1970s to 1990s.
The repertoire includes rock classics by Eric Clapton, Joe Cocker,
Bruce Springsteen and Supertramp as well as rock ballads by Sting, Udo
Lindenberg and Marius Müller-Westernhagen.
The choir is conducted by Jens Niemann from Osnabrück. The trained pianist, music lecturer and pop cantor arranges all the songs especially for the MGV-NEO.
Thus, the 'Niemann style' characterizes the sound of the choir. Easy-to

The choir has already performed on NDR1's 'Plattenkiste' and as choir of the week on Deutschlandradio-Kultur.
Mainly, however, MGV-NEO performs in the southern Osnabrück region.
