Cartoons by Wilhelm Warren at the Meppen district court
"Something always goes wrong" is the motto of the exhibition by Wilhelm Warren, who will be presenting his cartoons at Meppen District Court from November 2025. In his works, the artist takes a tongue-in-cheek look at the small and large misadventures of everyday life, which he lovingly and pointedly stages in his drawings. Warren's caricatures are inspired by greats such as Don Martin, Uli Stein and Martin Perscheid. The artist does not leave out any everyday situation that everyone has not experienced at least once. The viewer finds himself in a thunderstorm in the Esterfeld forest, on his wedding night, on the south beach of Norderney, in the depths of St. Pauli or on the operating table.
Anyone interested is cordially invited to the exhibition opening on Thursday, 20.11.2025 at 18:00 in the Meppen District Court, Obergerichtsstraße 20, 49716 Meppen!
The exhibition can be viewed immediately during the opening hours of the district court. Admission is free!
