The premiere of "The Phantom of the Opera" is supposed to be taking place, but the decorations for "My Fair Lady" are on stage. Nerves are stretched to breaking point and the three stagehands are fighting for their lives: The show must go on, the curtain must rise. And it will - but until then, comedic fireworks of the highest order explode.
