Krabbenkutter-Regatta 2026 - Tag 2

If you want to experience the authentic North Sea atmosphere, the Crab Cutter Regatta in Butjadingen is the place for you. Every year, from July 31 to August 2, 2026, the harbor of Fedderwardersiel comes alive. Decorated shrimp boats, music and a varied program make for a special experience.

The event has a long tradition. The first Shrimp Cutter Regatta took place in the harbor of Fedderwardersiel as early as 1972 and has evolved over the years from a small one-day event into a major maritime weekend with many attractions.

The Shrimp Cutter Regatta is one of the most popular events in Butjadingen and brings together visitors every year who want to enjoy maritime life, the sense of community, and the special atmosphere at the harbor.

The highlight will be the cutter cruises on August 1 and 2, 2026.
