KOMM IN MEIN HERZENSHAUS - Duo Germulus - Johann. Alte Musik - immer ein besonderes Erlebnis im Historischen Saal
Monteverdi, Telemann, Strozzo, Valentini, Frescobaldi, Händel, J.S. Bach - the who's who of baroque music in our Historic Hall. Performed by Torsten Johann on the harpsichord and Christina Germolus, soprano.
Torsten Johann lives in the region, but travels nationwide and internationally as a musician. He has worked for many years as a harpsichordist and organist in the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra, occasionally as musical director and as a lecturer at the Baden-Württemberg Ensemble Academy. He is particularly interested in the
discovery and development of as yet unexplored repertoire. Primarily with this music, but also with well-known masterpieces, he creates concert projects as an organ and harpsichord soloist, accompanist and conductor. His concert activities have taken him to many places around the world, mostly together
with renowned soloists and conductors. Local commitment is also important to him: more than 20 years ago, he initiated the "Klassik am Meer" concert series in his home town, and from the center of his life in East Frisia, he realizes performances of scenic and concertante works from Monteverdi to Beethoven with other artist friends from the region and beyond.
Christina Germolus-Roterberg, * in Dresden, began her singing career as a soprano after completing her vocal studies at the Carl Maria von Weber Academy of Music in Dresden with the RIAS Kammerchor Berlin, where she was a permanent member of the ensemble from 2005-2013. Her concert repertoire ranges from the masters of early music to modern music. She has made a name for herself not only as a concert singer but also as an opera singer. Christina Roterberg regularly works with the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, the Berlin Konzerthaus Orchestra, Concerto Köln, the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra and other renowned ensembles.
