Kerstin Pfeffer Camara accompanies herself on guitar as a singer. She was born in João Pessoa and speaks Portuguese and German as her native languages. The artist blends her own songs and selected covers with influences from folk, singer-songwriter, and Brazilian music. “Artists like Joni Mitchell, Kate Bush, Marisa Monte, and Gal Costa inspire me,” says the musician. Kerstin Pfeffer Camara also has training as a social worker.
