Kalender Girls

In Yorkshire, England, the tradition-bound Women’s Institute sets the tone—though it’s actually best known for cake recipes and flower arrangements. But then one member’s husband dies of leukemia. To honor him in their own modest way, the “girls” want to raise money for the hospital—and decide to turn their tried-and-true annual calendar into a nude calendar.
With courage, self-deprecating humor, and unwavering solidarity, they really stir things up in their village community and prove that you’re never too old for pride and a zest for life!
