Finnish-born, Berlin-based artist INA FORSMANN presents her most personal and dynamic album to date: AFTER DARK HOUR. As one of the leading voices of the European roots scene, Ina has been captivating audiences with explosive live performances and powerful, honeyed vocals for more than a decade. With this new release, she takes listeners on an emotional and groovy journey of rediscovery and resilience. The energy of live performance was a driving force behind the creation of the album. "I wanted songs that would play well live, songs that would leave people sweaty and smiling after my shows," explains Ina. "I think that was the most beautiful part of my inspiration." The album takes listeners through an eclectic mix of soul sounds, from seductive power ballads to James Brown-esque funk explosions, tender sweet soul, and uptempo Motown grooves.
