Hütte Rockt Festival
"Das Lumpenpack" at the Hütte Rockt Festival:
Band program for 2026 complete
Georgsmarienhütte, 12.02.2026 - 43 bands and artists have been confirmed, ticket sales are running at record levels and the "Hütte Rockt Kids" family day is also ready to go: things are happening behind the scenes at the Hütte Rockt Festival in Georgsmarienhütte.
With a new, third round of confirmed bands, the organizers today completed the program for the 19th edition of the festival. First and foremost, it has been revealed who the missing headliner will be: The punk formation "Das Lumpenpack" is at the top of the posters for 2026.
"A band that fits Hütte Rockt like a glove and that we've had on our wish list for years," says festival boss Marius Kleinheider happily. "So it's even better that it's finally happening this year." "Das Lumpenpack", a band with audible roots in the poetry slam scene, is currently one of the most successful German-language punk bands.
Rock from Brazil, Australia and Great Britain
The rest of the line-up also has it all - and brings international flair to the program: punk rock by Brazilian "Karen Dió" will be heard as well as hardcore punk by Australian group "Deez Nuts" and British electronic punk by "Carsick".
This will be followed by a colorful selection of genres from Germany: There's hyperpop from artist "Mariybu" and rock with violins from "Lumbematz", plus "Kontrollverlust" who have successfully specialized in rock versions of the intros to well-known children's series from the 90s and 2000s. Meanwhile, there is also something for today's children: "Raketen Erna" and the dinosaurs "Heavysaurus" are confirmed for the family afternoon "Hütte Rockt Kids".
The organizers had already announced the majority of the program at the end of 2025: first and foremost the Swedish rock'n'roll group "Royal Republic" as another headliner, the alternative metal band "Emil Bulls", the punk band "Montreal" and the indie pop and punk artist "Paula Carolina".
Innovations in the background, ticket sales pick up
"All in all, we're taking things up a notch in terms of quality compared to previous festivals," says Kleinheider. "And I think we've found a particularly good mix. On the one hand, 'classic' rock and punk, which might remind some people of the early Hütte Rockt festivals. But also a colorful palette that reflects the diversity of the scene."
According to Kleinheider, this is made possible not least by a change in the background: "Our volunteer band scouts always work hand in hand with a booking agency that handles the financial side of things with the bands. After our long-standing booker took his well-deserved retirement in 2025, there was a new appointment. The new booker naturally has his own ideas. And so we were able to try out some new things this year and land some clever hits."
And they are obviously going down well with the festival fans: "Our sales are way, way above what we've seen in previous years. We have already sold almost as many weekend tickets as 2025 in total. And as tickets traditionally only really pick up in the new year, we're very excited to see what else we can do. If it continues like this, we'll be sold out for the first time without the box office."
