Andreas Kaling (*1960, Münster) is a unique bass saxophonist who impresses with innovative techniques such as circular breathing and percussive key sounds. He has dedicated himself to the bass saxophone since 2000 and has made significant contributions to the music scene as a founding member of DEEP SCHROTT and in the duo LEPTOPHONICS with Andreas Gummersbach. His solo CDs were released in 2012 and 2014. He composed for the documentary film "Die Würde des Balles" and has been working with dancer Christine Grunert since 2013 and with musician Reinhold Westerheide since 2017. Kaling has been running the BLOW music school since 2003 and uses Rumberger pickups.
