Grand Opening of the Renovated Sports Facility on Rattwerder

On Sunday, July 12, 2026, the modernized sports facility on Rattwerder in Hann. Münden will be officially inaugurated. The event begins at 2:00 p.m. and, in addition to the ceremonial opening, will feature a special sporting highlight for the whole family.

To kick things off, representatives from politics, the public administration, and the companies involved in the planning and implementation will provide information about the construction project and its development. Visitors will gain fascinating insights into the planning, funding, and realization of the new sports facility.

Afterward, the focus shifts to sports: At 3:00 p.m., a Münden all-star team from the clubs SG Werratal, SG Gimte, and Mündener SV will face off against the long-established club KSV Hessen Kassel. The friendly match on the new artificial turf field will be the highlight of the day.

Refreshments, including bratwurst and beverages, will be available. Proceeds from sales will be donated to the Hann. Münden Hospice.
