The Christmas market is open daily from 11 am to 9 pm, on December 23 until 9:30 pm. The market is closed from December 24 to 26.
If you pay close attention, you may also spot Santa Claus strolling through the Göttingen Christmas market. Rumor has it that he is out and about from Monday to Friday between 4pm and 8pm and on Saturdays and Sundays between 3pm and 8pm. He can also be found every day at 5 pm in his Christmas mobile at the market for children's consultation hours.
