Gifhorner Weihnachtsmarkt

During the Advent season, the Christmas market bathes the Gifhorn pedestrian zone in a festive atmosphere. Culinary specialties such as roasted almonds, crêpes, mulled wine, sausages and bread are offered at lovingly decorated stalls. The cozy "Kaminzimmer" invites you to take a break and linger, events take place in the "Weihnachtshütte" and in the non-profit "Gute Bude" there are, among other things, handicrafts.
Children's carousels, a magical Ferris wheel, Punch and Judy shows, musical performances and Advent singing, children's crafts, winter fire shows, a blacksmith, family and senior citizens' afternoons, apres ski and after-work X-Mas parties round off the Christmas market in Gifhorn.
The Christmas market is open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and longer for special events.

Sustainability measures: Biodegradable cutlery and reusable cups and mugs must be used. Energy-saving lights are used at the stands. The central area of the Christmas market is located directly at a public transport bus stop. There are e-charging stations at the surrounding public parking lots. On weekends, parking is free of charge in the parking lot at Schottische Mühle.
