You’ll be guided through the special exhibition “Fine Bicycles – Perfectly Shaped & Fantastic” by experts with deep knowledge and passion. The exhibition celebrates the bicycle as a masterpiece of technology, craftsmanship, and design. Through selected exhibits spanning some 200 years of bicycle history, the exhibition vividly illustrates how functionality and design language inspire and evolve together. From historic penny-farthing bicycles to elegant touring bikes and innovative racing and everyday models, the exhibition takes visitors on a fascinating journey through design. For this special exhibition, the German Bicycle Museum in Bad Brückenau is providing truly extraordinary and rare exhibits. This top-notch selection offers exciting insights into two centuries of bicycle history and brings to life the evolution from a simple means of transportation to a modern design classic.
Following the guided tour, starting at 4:00 p.m. at Evenburg Castle, about 10 very special bikes will be available for skilled riders and anyone who just wants to have fun to try out: a high-wheeler, a cruiser, a scooter for adults, a balance bike, a bike with front- and rear-wheel steering, and a monster bike. Suitable for all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
