Field Commander C. - The Songs of Leonard Cohen

Field Commander C. is an impressive tribute to the great Canadian singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen. With the program "Early works - the roots of Hallelujah", singer Rolf Ableiter and his acoustic band embark on a musical search for clues and explain how an evergreen like "Hallelujah" could have come about in the first place. Of course, well-known songs such as "Suzanne", "Bird on the Wire", "So long Marianne" or even "Famous Blue Raincoat" play a major role, all of which are among Cohen's most famous works - and were all written during the creative period of his first four albums. Field Commander C. stands for an evening full of melancholy, poetry, virtuoso joy of playing and stories about Leonard Cohen and his early work, which is lovingly interpreted with guitar, violin, cello, organ, accordion and vocals.
