Christmas Torch Relay from the Farmhouse to the Market Square

As darkness falls, a very special experience begins in Bad Zwischenahn: the Christmas torchlight procession. The event marks the opening of the festively illuminated Advent village in the market square during Advent. Starting at 4:00 p.m., bratwurst and drinks will be served in front of the Ammerland farmhouse. Armed with torches and a sense of Christmas anticipation, everyone then heads together to the market square in front of St. Johannes Church. There, the scent of mulled wine, hot punch, roasted almonds, and other Christmas treats awaits everyone. Everyone is welcome to join in and will receive a torch.
