The "Fabulous Melle" town festival emerged from the "Ab in die Mitte" competition in 2003 and has since won several awards.

Always around 1 November, the festival organised by the town of Melle, Stadtmarketing Melle e. V. and Werbegemeinschaft Melle-City e. V. takes place in the centre of Melle around the themes of fairy tales, fables and (town) history.

The programme is always aimed at all age groups and especially families with children. Starting with highlights such as "Tischlein deck' dich", the medieval market, the lantern parade and the magically illuminated town centre, there is plenty on offer.
