Ev.-ref. Kirche Greetsiel: Madrigalchor Dortmund zu Gast
Dortmund Madrigal Choir: The worship service on Sunday, August 30, will be special: We will be hosting the Madrigal Choir from Dortmund. We have Meike Halser to thank for this wonderful idea for a collaboration. This year, East Frisia will be the destination for the Madrigal Choir’s choir weekend, and the choir is happy to help lead a worship service in the region. The choir will contribute three or four choral pieces to the musical program of the church service. Choir director Andrea Bärenfänger will also be playing the organ. The program will include, among other pieces: “Fröhlich wollen wir Halleluja singen” by Michael Praetorius and “Allein auf Gottes Wort” by Johann Walter. The choir was founded in 2011 and consists of trained singers with choral experience. The repertoire ranges stylistically from the Renaissance to the present day. We look forward to seeing you there and cordially invite you to join us!

The Evangelical Reformed Church in Greetsiel is located in the historic town center of Greetsiel on Hohe Straße. Please note that parking in the town center of Greetsiel is limited. Please use the paid parking spaces at the town entrance near the Zwillingsmühlen. From there, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the Greetsiel Church at Hohe Straße 2.
