2026 Einbeck celebrates the 50th Owl Festival!
Over three days, the old-timer, half-timbered and beer town of Einbeck attracts visitors to the Owl Festival with the traditional winter bock tapping, colorful market stalls in historic alleys and music on all stages!
The Einbeck Owl Festival has a long tradition: the popular town festival was held for the first time in Einbeck's historic old town back in 1974.
Every year on the second weekend in October, the town is dominated by the music and civic festival. Around 100,000 guests come to the town over the three days and join in the celebrations - making the Owl Festival the largest town festival in southern Lower Saxony.
