Ein Meer aus Steinen – und das im Wald?

How did the larger and smaller stone blocks get to the Gattberg? What are the legends about the Butterstein? We want to discover these special features in a playful way and with all our senses. To do this, we will hike along a 3 km circular trail in the "Steinernes Meer" nature reserve near Belm. Interesting and adventurous nature experiences for parents and children await us at several stations. The erratic blocks give us an idea of how they came to us with the ice around 120,000 to 200,000 years ago and were later used by people with stories and customs.

Instructions: Discovery tour for (grand)parents with children aged 6 to 10. Bring along: Seat pad for the break, picnic, a cloth to cover your eyes. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes.

At all our events, places are available for people who have a KUKUK card (more information at www.kukuk.de). Please ask for free quotas when registering.
