🌙 Night watchman tour for Earth Hour

"We're turning it off" - Hann. Münden in a special light

When the lights go out in Hann. Münden for Earth Hour, a very special atmosphere is created: on an atmospheric night watchman's tour, visitors experience the historic old town in a different way - quiet, decelerated and in the light of lanterns.

On Saturday, March 28, the tour starts at 8:30 pm and leads from the town hall through the winding alleyways of the old town. Accompanied by LED lanterns, the city will be bathed in a new light, allowing history and the present to merge in a special way. At the same time, selected lights in the city are symbolically switched off - a joint signal for climate protection and the conscious use of energy.

Earth Hour, a global WWF campaign, invites people to pause for a moment and focus on the essentials. The night watchman tour combines this concern with a special city experience and shows Hann. Münden from its quiet, atmospheric side.
