On August 29, 2026, the 16th Dragon Boat Race will take place at the Old Harbor in Weener. Whether you’re a sports team, a fun team, a corporate team, a bank team, a recreational team, or a club team... everyone is warmly invited! We look forward to seeing you!
Divisions: Divided into 4 cups (depending on entries). In addition, the Rheiderland Cup will be contested.
Boats: 12-person wooden boats
Crew: 12 paddlers, including at least 2 women, plus a drummer
Course: approx. 200 meters on a straight course across two lanes
Training is available in the weeks leading up to the event. A fee of 20 € is charged per training run. The first training run is free! The contact person for training is Ineke Loesing
