Dorfrundgang zum Kolkleuchten

The popular village walk through the North Sea spa town of Horumersiel combines a tour of the Kolkleuchten with a convivial conclusion. Starting at the guesthouse, the walk leads through the historic Sielort to the atmospheric Kolkleuchten, where the evening comes to a close in a special atmosphere. Once at the Kolk, participants can look forward to a grilled bratwurst or a drink of their choice.

In this idyllic “front-row seat at the gateway to the North Sea,” a window into the past opens up. Enchanting paths and significant sites tell of times long past and living traditions. Fascinating stories offer insights into questions such as: What secrets does the “Goldstraße” hold? What did the “Hohe Stuhl” once stand for? And why isn’t there a harbor here?

With views of the most striking landmarks and supplemented by personal tips for the Wangerland region, the tour becomes a special journey through history and the present, combined with a convivial get-together at the Kolk. The price includes either a drink or a grilled bratwurst.
