The Silver Lake has revealed its secrets again! After the tunnel was completely submerged for almost two years, the lake has suddenly disappeared again. The TERRA.guides are therefore turning the Silbersee back into a unique underground experience and revealing the secrets of its 240-million-year-old history with relics of a fossilized mudflat, a brief period of intensive mining and its legacy from the Second World War. Guided tours for closed groups can be booked with the tourist office.

Notes: Please wear sturdy shoes or rubber boots and warm clothing that can get dirty. The tour is unfortunately not suitable for people with limited mobility. We recommend wearing an FFP2 mask during the tour due to the humid cave climate in the tunnel.

All our events have places available for people who have a KUKUK card (more information at www.kukuk.de). Please ask for free allotments when registering.
