✨ More lights, new installations, a longer trail! ✨
From January 30 to March 8, 2026, the International Mill Museum in Gifhorn will once again be transformed into a glowing dream world - this time even bigger, even more impressive and even more diverse than last year.
For the first time, the entire museum grounds will be bathed in a sparkling sea of lights: from the imposing French mill to the magnificent Russian Orthodox wooden church. An extended trail awaits visitors - with creative light installations, mysterious paths and radiant highlights that invite you to marvel, discover and photograph.
The mill lights are the ideal destination for a winter excursion in Lower Saxony. Whether as a romantic evening for two, as a special family outing with children or as a shared experience with friends or colleagues - the spectacular light show in Gifhorn delights young and old alike.
The idyllic village square also opens its doors exclusively for visitors to the Mühlenlichter: with cozy restaurants, warm drinks and culinary delights, it becomes a meeting place to end the evening with enjoyment.
Look forward to a colorful winter event in Gifhorn full of emotions, surprises and unforgettable experiences - and experience the Mühlenlichter in a dimension that has never been seen before!
