In May 2023, the Nicolai Church was buzzing with enthusiasm when Bogdan Dragus, who is often referred to as "the violinist with the fastest fingers in the world", captivated the audience with his magnificent technique and breathtaking changes of mood.
The exceptional violinist feels at home in all musical genres: together with his ensemble, he moves away from the musical mainstream on the ridge between Paganini and Brahms, film music and improvised jazz arrangements, virtuoso gipsy and romantic flamenco music. A firework display - not only - of virtuoso violin artistry, which unites the boundaries of musical styles with ease under one large arch.
And you can experience these fireworks on May 3rd, 2026, at 5 pm in the Nicolai Church, Wittmund.
