Best of Hüggel – Natur erleben vor den Toren Osnabrücks

The Hüggel near Osnabrück, one of the first landscape elevations south of Scandinavia, surprises with its special diversity, from the history of the earth to special natural phenomena. Mining was also carried out here for decades, which - almost like a piece of Swiss cheese - has left its mark everywhere. Today, the Hüggel is an ecological refuge and landscape conservation area that provides space and protection for numerous species of plants, animals and fungi and is fascinating precisely because of this richness. The hike covers around 8 kilometers and takes about 3 hours. The offer is aimed primarily at adults who are not yet familiar with the Hüggel and its surroundings.

Instructions: For adults who are interested in natural history. Sturdy shoes, clothing suitable for the weather and rucksack provisions for a break.
