Ausstellungseröffnung: Zwischen Abstrakt und Natur

Artist Margrit Bächle-Fiks is opening her exhibition "Between Abstract and Nature."
As a child and teenager, she loved to draw and even tried her hand at watercolor. Then she had a family, a job, and a political life, and she lacked the time and peace of mind to paint. That was until a few years ago, when she found some acrylic paint still in its original packaging among the bulky trash. She had no idea how to paint with them, so she took a three-hour course at the adult education center. Eventually, a friend recommended a weekend workshop with Theo Haasche. That’s when she really got hooked. Since then, she has created many paintings. A selection is on display at the city library.
