I took a close look at the letter first, because I've learned that you have to be careful in Germany since Gutenberg invented small print in the 15th century. Maybe it says that being German is free for the first year, but then....." But nothing, no small print, no advertising, official mail instead. "I thought to myself: Why not become German?
