6. Krummhörner Lichtertage 2026

Illumination
Festival of lights
The Krummhörn Light Festival transforms historic sites into a luminous open-air work of art.
Every year, as the days grow shorter in the fall, Touristik GmbH Krummhörn-Greetsiel invites visitors to the Krummhörn Days of Light. During this event, various buildings and squares are illuminated with captivating light displays. The illuminations at various churches in Krummhörn, staged by Derk Trei Veranstaltungstechnik, are divided into four tours and can be viewed from October 19 through November 1, 2026, from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. each day. You can find the individual venues here:

Oct. 19: At Manningaburg Castle in Pewsum: “Flames of Water”—a light and water spectacle to kick off the Krummhörn Light Days
Oct. 19 - Oct. 21: Woquard, Pewsum, Canum, Freepsum, and Woltzeten
Oct. 22–24: Rysum (including the mill), Loquard, Campen, Upleward, and Hamswehrum
