Open-air concerts on 6 stages – Flea market and seniors’ afternoon on Saturday – Family Day on Sunday

From September 18 to 20, 2026, the 44th Lingen Old Town Festival will once again draw visitors to the city center. A Ferris wheel will be set up on the market square once again. Visitors can enjoy a fantastic view of Lingen, the surrounding area, and the lively atmosphere at the Old Town Festival from a height of about 35 meters. All music programs will end at 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

“Rock am Alten Pferdemarkt,” now a well-established event throughout Germany, represents just one part of the extensive and varied program. From evergreens and ’80s covers to soul and blues, all the way to contemporary rock and pop, as well as performances by full orchestras—there’s simply something for everyone during these days: music to listen to and dance along to, to “let loose or chill out”!

Traditionally, a flea market takes place on Saturday morning.

On Sunday, Family Day—featuring a wide variety of stage programs—marks the exciting conclusion of the three-day event.
