The Alfsee in Rieste will once again be transformed into a true cycling mecca: sporting ambition, team spirit and festival atmosphere come together at the 24-hour mountain bike race, one of the biggest events of its kind in Europe. For the 14th time, the organizing team is inviting the mountain bike scene - and once again, over 900 riders are expected to take on the special challenge as individual starters or as part of a team.

The approximately 12-kilometer route around the Alfsee lake is unique in Germany. Thanks to a special permit, it even leads close to a nature and bird sanctuary. A wide variety of surfaces such as grass, roots, sand and paved passages provide variety and demand both technique and stamina. A particular highlight - and a real challenge - is the Alfsee dyke: around 160 meters in altitude per lap demand everything from the participants. Anyone who rides here will quickly realize why the race is so popular far beyond the region and even attracts international starters.

But the event is much more than just an endurance race. Right from the start, an atmospheric biker party with live music provides the best atmosphere and the perfect way to get in the mood for the sporting weekend. Fans of motorized mountain bikes will also get their money's worth with the E-Mountainbike Marathon Power League.

On the family day, the course belongs to the youngsters: at various children's races, from push bikes to the mini cup with bobby cars, even the youngest can get a taste of racing and celebrate. This makes the weekend an experience for the whole family.

Spectators can experience thrilling racing moments up close - in the start and finish area, at exciting sections of the course or at the impressive chain of lights at night. A large LED wall with live images brings the action even closer.
