The Christmas market on the 3rd Sunday in Advent, December 15, 2024 will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Alte Dorfstra e, in and around the parish hall and St. Laurentius Church.
The day begins at 10:00 a.m. with a church service. Afterwards, the various exhibitors open their market stalls. Everything is there - from knitted stockings to dolls, wooden items of all sizes, leather slippers and pottery - there will be nothing missing. Of course, guests can also enjoy coffee and cake, wedding soup, sausages, mulled wine, punch and much more.
Santa Claus will once again present our little ones with small gifts and stories will be read aloud. Let yourself be surprised. A wishing tree will be set up and the market will be framed by Advent music around 5 p.m. on market day. The light of peace from Bethlehem will be distributed in the parish hall. Please remember to bring candles or lanterns to take the light home with you. Once again this year, the event will conclude with the presentation of another nativity scene figure to the parish.
