Weihnachten auf dem Leuchtturm

As every year, Kowalski celebrates a very cozy and contemplative Christmas on his lighthouse island with the mussel Benjamin and the lobster James Cook.

All friends have come, Christmas carols are sung, the octopus performs his famous "eight-armed knotting dance", Rudolf the red-nosed reindeer steps over the jetty and the Christmas elves invite you to a speedy carriage ride.

Everything would be just like every year...but suddenly a spaceship lands with a lot of noise in the middle of the lighthouse island...and who gets out?

- Santa Claus himself!

An atmospheric stage set, large figures that are animated with the help of children from the audience, dancing, acting, lots of music and constant dialog with the audience - these are the secrets to the success of this little pre-Christmas story.

 

General information about Theater Töfte:

The Theater Töfte has been on the road since May 1984 as an independent professional touring theater with year-round performances. During this time, we have staged 22 plays for children between the ages of 4 and 12 and given over 3,600 guest performances throughout Germany and neighboring countries. Our venues are theaters, town halls, community and community centers, youth homes, cabarets, school auditoriums, gymnasiums, kindergartens, playgrounds, parks...
In the 20 years of our existence, we have developed two play concepts that are typical for us: On the one hand, we prefer openly guided folding mouth figures alternating with an actor, and on the other, a combination of show, figure and mask play with lots of live music, especially for the plays in which we offer children creative opportunities to play along. We have performed at numerous national and international festivals and  have been awarded prizes for our work.
